Andrew Carvolth (b. 1993)
Andrew Carvolth is a craftsperson and designer based in Kaurna Yerta (Adelaide, Australia). After graduating from the ANU School of Art (Design-Arts Hons), he established his design studio, focusing on exhibitions, commissions, and limited editions.
Carvolth co-founded Mixed Goods Studios with Dean Toepfer, an independent craft and design studio in Adelaide, and co-founded One Two One Two, a curatorial platform, with Elliot Bastianon. He also contributed significantly to developing large-scale commissions and product designs as the former Head of the JamFactory Furniture Studio (2021-2023), where he launched a new woodworking short course program. He has taught at both JamFactory and Sturt School for Wood (2024).
Exhibiting internationally since 2018, his work has been shown at Milan Design Week, Abierto de Diseño México, and Melbourne Design Week. His pieces are part of private collections and institutions; Domaine de Boisbuchet (France) and the National Gallery of Victoria (Melbourne).
